Give user the ability to control how to scrape item components

  1. DIsplay base URL page to user to inspect DOM
  2. Display inputs to select the "container" DOM (xpath), "item" DOMS (css selector), and item meta components (css selectors). Since the item meta components can be dynamic (i.e., there can be any number of components to scrape), the easiest way to do this is probably some sort of table.
  3. Use those inputs to scrape the base page and provide the user a "preview" of the meta data that will be scraped on all other pages.

Give user ability to browse and select proxy for scraping requests

  1. Give user list of free proxy IP/ports to choose from. The list here looks promising.
  2. Do httr::set_config(httr::use_proxy(url, port)). This will set proxy in a way that all future calls to httr::GET will respect.
  3. Save and restore these settings across user sessions (e.g., via the client filesystem).
