I have jdk1.8.0_25 (64bit) but when running the project (kicked off from NetBeans) I get a run time error that "no lwjgl64 in java.library.path"

And this seems correct. I checked the LWJGL 2.9.x download and there is no explicitly stated 64bit jar. Looks like one of the calls is requesting a 64bit that the 2.9.3 distribution of LWJGL doesn't supply. Is this a LWJGL dependency problem? Something in NetBeans (I copied the run configuration settings from your example screen shot).

The MP3 I selected using the file selection java UI does audibly play, but the visualization does not start (fullscreen mode).

Everytime I load an audio file, it tells me that beads has a problem loading the audio file. I checked to see if the file exists, which it does but Beads won't open it.

It always says
