RubySesame ↑

A Ruby library to interact with OpenRDF.org’s Sesame RDF framework via its REST interface.

This is a fork of Paul Legato’s ruby-sesame. It uses Net::HTTP instead of Curb, thus making it fully JRuby-compatible.

restructure code into separate files

currently ruby-sesame.rb contains several classes, which makes it somewhat unwieldy - these (particularly Server and Repository) should be moved to separate files instead

(in the process, a VERSION constant should be introduced)

refactor content-type handling

Currently Repository#query and Repository#get_statements are expected to be used like this:

:result_type => RubySesame::DATA_TYPES[:XML]

... which resolves to

:result_type => "application/sparql-results+xml"

This might be simplified by resolving DATA_TYPES internally, thus optionally accepting shortcut symbols instead of MIME type strings:

:result_type => :xml
