Exchange Rate Calculator

This is my first project using React to create a simple exchange rate calculator.

Pre-requisites

You will need npm (Node Package Manager).

Getting started

  1. Install dependencies by running:

npm install

  1. Sign up for a free API key

https://www.exchangerate-api.com/

  1. Save your API key in app.js (or in an .env file) and then assign your API key to a variable called 'API_KEY'

const API_KEY = <your_key>

  1. In the project directory, you can then run:

npm start

Runs the app in the development mode.
Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in the browser.
