Hi, I downloaded the source code and patched mac80211. Currently I use LEDE. I have two doubts.

1. It is perfectly normal the high and constant loss in TX Failed ?.

2. The other patches of the accepted_upstream folder when copying them to the package / kernel / mac80211 / patches folder because the compilation fails.

The chipset I currently use is ath9k_htc, the cards with chipset ath9k are practically hard to get in my country. Thanks in advance.

Minstrel-Blues look very very promise. It would be a shame if their development was abandoned.

Hi. An error is skipped when compiling. Specifically the file that has problems is tpc80211_blues.c in the function "blues_calc_utility".

When I follow the readme, copy patches, clean mac80211, and build LEDE. Then my Toshiba R600/Win10 with Intel 5100 & iPhone 5S can hardly see the device from nearby and can't get a working connection. Didn't test any other machines.

When I remove the patch files, clean mac80211, and build LEDE, everything works fine.

Firmware version: LEDE Reboot SNAPSHOT r4103-5f93298 / LuCI Master (git-17.130.33895-8d4fa96)
Kernel version: 4.4.61

I understand that this is a bit of code that's basically labeled "if anything breaks, you may keep the pieces". I'd like to help you improve things, by doing some debugging. But I'll need some pointers. I have access to Windows, Mac OS X and Linux machines.
