I believe there are many people who come to the development community from non computer science backgrounds. However employers often bring up these subjects when hiring prospective developers.

I would like to see suggestions or techniques from improving ones ability to reason about abstract programming puzzles and becoming a better problem solver.

The Git Trail is almost phrased like that. If we use consistent language across all trails, we can present a clearer overall path for users in the Learn iPhone app regarding their progress.

This is fairly minor, but if there was a json-encoded manifest of the active trails in https://github.com/thoughtbot/trail-map/tree/master/trails, it save a github API request to get (and then filter) the contents of that directory.

The manifest could probably be auto-created via a ruby script run via a pre-commit hook. Thoughts?
