As the library could become a central part in the product metrics, is important to allow the users the users to monitor the health of the library.

Possible Solution

1. Find out which parts of the workflow would make sense to be tracked with telemetry
2. Update the code to use telemetry on those parts

Motivation

We need to implement graceful shutdown for the batcher. So during a shutdown the buffers be drained and avoid lost of events.
