Small application designed to start conversations via whatsapp without the need to add the number to your contact list. The application is developed in Jetpack Compose and uses the whatsapp API to start the chat.

The app requires Android 7 or higher and WhatsApp installed.

The app should support sideloading in the working profile.
there are some app that support it:
1. island by oasis feng
2. Insular fork of island without proprietary or unnecessary things
3. any app that support ADB privilege to installing apk on selected or all user
ex: AM
Not really a bug, but an issue.
Listed apps should be distinguishable.
The app "Synology Chat" (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.synology.dschat) does have the same name as your application, same colors and similar icon.
I would recommend to make the app more distinguishable.

If I need to enter a phone number with a country code that does not match my default country code, the only option is to tap the code and remove it in the opened settings window. The next time I use the app, the default country code is gone, so I need to go to the settings again and set it back.
It would be nice to be able to erase the country code with backspace or double backspace while keeping the setting intact so that the next time I use the app, the default country code is preserved.

I have WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business. There are two different accounts on it.
I expected running the WhatsApp chat, but it run the WhatsApp Business chat
When I input the number, I get a WhatsApp Business and corresponding account.
Maybe I do something wrong or it can be fixed via settings, idk.
It could be fine, if you can select WhatsApp app and account by default or optional for running chat

If you are looking for this application just for a single-use case or just want to avoid installing a new application, you can use the WhatsApp's own non-intuitive UI for that:
- Open WhatsApp
- Press the button to start a new chat (the one with a + at the top right of the screen on iOS or in the bottom right on Android)
- Press the search button
- Type or paste the telephone number (including the country code)
- Select the contact and start chatting
But, of course, you will be missing another functions from this app, like automatically prefilling with a default country code of your choosing and the quick launch tile.
Before I knew the existence of this non-intuitive UI, I used to use the WhatsApp API for that too. In fact, I lost the count of how many people I saw having this issue. They could have integrated to their main search view, not just the only after the start new chat view (which most people never use). Also, since they require the country code without explicitly saying it (unlike this app) it makes this feature really hard to discover.
