resume's Issues

Text color?

Hey! Thanks for this template; it looks wonderful. I've been trying to make the entire text of the resume black to no avail. I'm sure I missed it, but how do I change the entire resume's color?

Heading position with more text should be "padding: top"

If you have more text in the Interesse section, the heading stays at center. I haven't found a way to set the position to top. To be more precise the \cvskill{HEAD}{Content}. The HEAD should be placed on top.

Is it possible to include that as an option?

Links are not defined for Github and Linkedin

Description

The links for the Github and Linkedin links are not defined, demanding the user to manually input the whole link, making the experience of these links inconsistent - for some you need the username (e.g.: gitlab, StackOverflow, twitter), and for others the whole link.

How to enable the cv fit on one page?

Thanks, Nanda! I'm trying to use your CV template, when I modified some contents, the output separate two pages automatically, how could I force the output to fit on one page?

Insert Image

Hello and thank you for the template.

I would like to add a small image (e.g. QR code) on the first column.
Using \begin{figure} I have the following error:
Not in outer par mode. \begin{figure}
Could you please help me to solve this problem
Thank you in advance
Alex

repeated occurrence of Year in publication section

The publication article looks as below in the Resume.pdf,
Journal of Computer and System Sciences 81.8 (Dec. 2015) pp. 1479–1495. 2015. The year field 2015 appeared twice.

While it's not stated what format is intended for this CV, it might be a good choice to avoid this duplication. One related discussion of this problem regarding issuetitle can be found Here, and the corresponding code is found here.

The issue happens when I download the PDF (no issue on the one compiled on Overleaf online), and copy the content from the downloaded PDF. The result is as followed:
