limberframework's Issues

Add coverage as a pre-commit hook

It would be useful to check that any new code added to the code base is covered by tests.
Therefore, adding coverage to .pre-commit-config.yaml should be explored so that the test coverage can be checked when code is committed.

Add support for python 3.9.1 and 3.8.7

Python version 3.9.1 and 3.8.7 were recently released.
Limber Framework should be tested against these versions of Python to check that there are no issues and is fully supported, i.e. update .python-versions file with these versions and run tox.

Add MySQL connection

Add a connection to limberframework.database.connections to allow connecting to a MySQL database using SQLAlchemy, i.e. using the mysql driver.

Restrict pydocstyle to limberframework folder

Pydocstyle should only check docstrings in the limberframework folder, rather than the whole project.
Therefore, the match-dir command line argument should be used in .pre-commit-config.yml to restrict pydocstyle to only that folder.

OAuth2 authenticator

Add an OAuth2 authenticator to limberframework.authentication.authenticators.

Log service

Add a log service to handle logging.

Requirements:

  • Output logs to both a file and the terminal.
  • Organise logs based on: single file, daily rotation, or none (i.e. discard logs).
