This is a formal request for approval from CashAddress.org regarding the May 2023 upgrade of Bitcoin Cash (BCH).

CHIP-2022-02-CashTokens has achieved the Cash Improvement Proposal (CHIP) milestones required to be locked in on November 15, 2022 and activated on May 15, 2023.

Support for the CashTokens upgrade is available in the following open-source software:

• Nodes: Bitcoin Cash Node (BCHN), Bitcoin Verde
• Indexers: Chaingraph, Fulcrum
• Project & Libraries: Bitauth IDE, Electron Cash, Libauth.

The CHIP contributors believe CashAddress.org is an important stakeholder in the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem. Please respond to the following question by 12:00 UTC on November 14, 2022. Non-responses will be considered "Abstain (Neutral)".

In multiple languages there’s a tip that Bitcoin Cash can be spent using Blockchair.com, e.g.:

This is however misleading, since Blockchair is a search and analytics system (blockchain explorer) for Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash, we do not provide wallet services. I’d suggest changing the link to https://www.bitcoincash.org/#wallets to avoid confusion.

Finish migrating everything to the grunt build pipeline.

I love the findbitcoin.cash idea and think it would be very helpful if the generated paper wallets were available in other languages. I see this as a 3 step process:

1. make the generation process generic enough to handle other languages on the paper wallet
2. do the actual translations for the existing languages which are on the website's generation page, and make sure that a language is used if it is available, otherwise fall back to English
3. add more languages

I would like to organize a bounty for someone who can do (1). It would be helpful to know how much effort would be required to produce a good solution for it. Excluding the work needed for the actual translation.

If anyone wants to update code for the new cashaddr format that would be epic. Otherwise I will try to get to it soon. =)

When I print wallets in black-and-white (actually greyscale), the green portion of the word "BitcoinCash" disappears, leaving behind only "Bitcoin".

It would be nice to have an option to generate paper wallets in black-and-white, ready for printing, with all graphics intact.

The current "Hide Art" checkbox almost achieves this. But it makes the QR codes tiny and harder to scan reliably. We need another checkbox "Black-and-White" that preserves the art and the larger QR codes but simply make it greyscale instead of in color.

The width of the paper wallet images should equal the page width and it would look a ton better. =)

The code loads the English page after entropy generation, regardless if the user selects another language before that.

This bug is inherited from the source code and might be tough to fix.

Hi Guys, really hope I'm doing this in the right place.. apologies if im not!

We are trying to use cashaddress more frequently to onboard new comers to BCH, there is 1 issue and 1 request here.

Issue: most wallets do not yet support the cashaddress prefix, can we have an option to toggle that off until they do? for example, bitcoin.com wallet can not sweep a cashaddress wallet at the moment.

Request: Can we have a few different options for background graphics for the paper wallet? would be nice to have a few options, especially with the holidays coming up! :)

The green bitcoin cash logo prevent someone from clicking anywhere during entropy generation, which force someone for finish generating entropy before being able to click away on another language.

Not good for non-english speaker that don't get what is going on/required of them and just want to change language to get the explaination.

Tested on Chrome+Firefox (both latest) on Windows 7.
