Pets: Feed button doesn't seem to do anything

When I try to feed my Tux, nothing seems to happen.
He has been starving for almost 4 days now 😭
My Interface.json indicates that he has never been fed:

Looking at the log, it seems like this might be some sort of weird conflict:
