harmonics-explorer's Introduction

Harmonic Series Explorer

This is a little Angular 2 application that can be used to explore the harmonic series of sine waves. You have a number of harmonics (sine waves with frequencies that are integer multiples of the base frequency) that you can control individually, and then listen to the result.

See demo

This also serves as an example codebase of the following tech stack:

  • Angular 2
  • @ngrx/store with hot loading
  • @ngrx/effects
  • Immutable.js
  • Angular Material 2
  • Web Audio
  • Canvas graphics

I've added various comments to the code so if you want to see how the project works, I hope you'll find everything you need.

harmonics-explorer's Issues

Unable to run project locally

Hello,

When trying to run project locally (git clone, npm install, npm run start), everything is compiled successfully, but when I go to localhost:8080, there remains only "Loading..." text and in browser console is following error:

TypeError: ctorParameters.map is not a function
http://localhost:8080/vendor.js line 1807 > eval
Line 61

Any help appreciated.

Unable to build project locally

Hello,

I am trying to build project locally. I clone it, run npm install, then npm run build and following error message appears:

Invalid configuration object. Webpack has been initialised using a configuration object that does not match the API schema.
 - configuration has an unknown property 'htmlLoader'. These properties are valid:
   object { amd?, bail?, cache?, context?, dependencies?, devServer?, devtool?, entry, externals?, loader?, module?, name?, node?, output?, plugins?, profile?, recordsInputPath?, recordsOutputPath?, recordsPath?, resolve?, resolveLoader?, stats?, target?, watch?, watchOptions? }
   For typos: please correct them.
   For loader options: webpack 2 no longer allows custom properties in configuration.
     Loaders should be updated to allow passing options via loader options in module.rules.
     Until loaders are updated one can use the LoaderOptionsPlugin to pass these options to the loader:
     plugins: {
       new webpack.LoaderOptionsPlugin({
         // test: /\.xxx$/, // may apply this only for some modules
         options: {
           htmlLoader: ...
         }
       })
     }

How to solve it, please?

license?

Hi @teropa ,

This is a great demo of a few different things. Thank you for sharing. I was wondering if you'd be willing to license it for reuse? MIT perhaps? ;) I'm particularly interested in your hmr implementation, which seems nice and clean.

If not, no worries, you've already taught me something, so thank you.

Cheers,
Daphne
