Sony TV control

Instalation

To install the plugin, head over to the machine with Homebridge set up and run

sudo npm install -g https://github.com/tekuonline/homebridge-sonytvremote.git
Configuration

To make Homebridge aware of the new plugin, you will have to add it to your configuration usually found in .homebridge/config.json. Somewhere inside that file you should see a key named accessories. This is where you can add your tv as shown here:

Note: Cookie must be a file with read write access:
sudo chmod 777 /usr/local/lib/node_modules/homebridge-sonytvremote/cookie

*where cookiepath might differ based on user setup.

Cookie Path is not Valid for some Configurations

I was getting an issue where every time I restarted Homebridge or turned on my TV I was getting the Remote Device Registration on my TV. It looks like the path that is set for the cookie file "/usr/local/lib/node_modules/homebridge-sonytvremote/cookie" is not valid for all configurations.

Some users need to be able to edit the path to allow us to direct the cookie somewhere we can read/write. I was able to manually go in and change the path, but its not quite as user friendly.

Can you make this configurable? Do you think this is even the issue? I think it makes some sense to add this as an optional config with maybe your original as a default?
