Hi, I'm looking back at this crate wondering why I disregarded it in favor of mqtt-rs despite its attractive simplicity (I've sunk some time on making the mqtt-rs codebase simpler), and various answers came to mind:

• No docs, not even a readme.
• Didn't spot the read/write trait initially, thought it was just the structs without associated encode/decode methods.
• No github release.
• Name indicates it'll never support mqtt5, even in a backward-compatible way.

You should consider adding README.md, CHANGELOG.md, and at least some module-level documentation with an example on using the MqttRead and MqttWrite traits. And add an annotated git tag to your release commits so that they'll show up on the repository.

I understand you're focused on higher-level abstractions, but I think this crate deserves to stand up on its own.
