A Life on the Street is a web application aimed at improving the quality of life for stray animals. It provides a platform to connect animal lovers, animal shelters, and communities to work together in rescuing, caring for, and finding homes for stray animals. The application utilizes the Django framework for the back-end development and MongoDB Atlas for efficient database management.
A Life on the Street is designed to address the challenges faced by stray animals and facilitate their rescue and adoption processes. The web application serves as a central hub where animal lovers can find information about stray animals in their area, connect with local animal shelters, and participate in rescue efforts. It also provides a platform for animal shelters to manage and showcase animals available for adoption and collaborate with volunteers and adopters.
