I can't pull or push in my repo with Git Kraken v1.2. It returned this error :

GitKraken push failed : credentials callback returned an invalid cred type.

However, I can push with the shell. I'm on OSX El Capitan.

Using 2.4.0

During a rebase operation, when resolving conflicting files, by choosing the entire file as the right one, GitKraken appends the content to the resulting file that "resolves the conflict" of rebase.

This makes the resulting file look like garbage, check the screenshot of what happened to the branch after I've pushed the rebased version:

It is not actually duplication, it is multiplication. It happened 3 times for this file, that generated 3 conflicts.

It would be good to have the "rename branch" feature.

I've linked my account of Github and when i try to add a remote to a project the select says No Match.

Here's the related config to my account, i have set it up with an ssh key so it should show all my projects.

When you are rebasing a branch and you are in no one branch, gitKraken is not able to load your repo.

GitKraken (latest version), prompts proxy credentials while showing all my previous details (that, by the way did not change, but that is another issue) in clear plain text (login, password, proxy address).

Please add the option to choose the dark variant of any gtk theme on ubuntu! Thanks!

To reproduce:

• Connect to gitlab account.
• Create SSH keys. (optional)
• Select Repository management->Clone->Gitlab

Expected:

• Visible projects from your account (as on github tab).

Actual:

• "No match" text.

When registering with a custom email, the confirmation pop up message is showing null instead of email address.

The icon in the .desktop file is currently hardcoded, which means it can't be changed with icon packs

I'm having this problems with GitKraken.

The problem also appear when i try to clone a repository.

Any idea what could it be?

My remote uses ssh+git protocol which gives an address like this : ssh+git://[email protected]/john-doe.com.git

When I try to push or pull on it, GitKraken ❤️ gives me the following error message : Push failed : Malformed URL

Is it possible to add support for ssh+git protocol?

As your name is much same than the other GitKraken, found images of this soft may be hard.

I wonder if you can just upload a few pics about it, to let me decide try based on how i feel with it, cuz in short it is UI for git.

I take a look at docs, but theres nothing on it (sphynx, pdf nor images)

Sometimes you do want to cherrypick multiple commits, or squash some commits that aren't on top of commit tree, or make an interactive rebase. But thereis no way to make this in kraken

Since I installed the latest version yesterday, have this really wierd behavior: the client portion of the window stays on top of all other apps. Screenshot attached.

This happend on the latests version i've installed 2.4.0. Previous releases didn't have that render issue.

I noticed that is somewhat about the rendering of webpages (Electron), because i noticed some similar behavior on the resizing/rendering at Firefox, so maybe is finally a webkit problem...

I can still use it, but only because i already know the buttons, otherwise will not be able to use them, as only few pixels of some buttons are visible, while still reponding OK at the mouse click.

Update

Playing with the window, especially resizing window has fixed the problem, and even if i can see the problem for a second at load, it expands now to the full width.

Now it displays ok each time.

Arch linux, i3, gitkraken version 2.6.0

In linux Manjaro distribution i can't read folders names with gitraken :

If the some file is locked during checkout, checkout fails and you get dirty stage files

The notification are shown in the top right corner, and sometimes it prevents you from saving/closing files (especially during merges) or interacting with the system.

I think that we must change the position of the notifications.

When I try to pull or fetch repository GitKraken throws the above error. I am able to pull/fetch in other UI clients though.

Hey mate,

A friend linked me here to one of your issues, I think as a humorous comment on the dangers (annoyances?) of product name collisions.

Anyway, it would seem you are randomly receiving support-like issues about their product. Maybe you want to rename this repo to something other than GitKraken? Big ask I know.

Sometimes in file blame im seeing an Unknown author(which really isn't unknown), and clicking on its commit fucks blame history up (most of commits dissapears out of left panel)

I'm using KDE-Neon (with plasma on top) and I can't seem to get GitKraken to launch successfully, I keep getting this error,

libgnome-keyring.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Actually, we can not merge a branch with the possiblity to squash.
squash is possible only for commits

I have to do this manually passing a command : git merge dev/is0582 --squash
It would be great to have this feature

I have a 1366x768 screen using Ubuntu Gnome 15.10, my screen is small and when i have changes in my local repositories in an Android app i can't know which is which of my files in the unstage files view because the path is long and there is no horizontal scroll, i also cannot see a tooltip with the path of the file if i step over the files, the horizontal scroll does not work even in the preview of the modified files i can't see the whole lines of the file.

My ssh server runs on a port other than 22, normally I'd configure in my local SSH config file, but since GitKraken doesn't respect the SSH config, I could not find a way for GitKraken to work with my repo.

When I pull/push, it reports "Remote not found". I have Github authentication and the repo is fine in Github. I have no idea what I missed.

I didn't find the origin of the bug, but sometimes, when I start to write my commit message, I can only write one letter, then it doesn't take the next keyboard entries. If I click on another commit then come back to my message commit, I can edit it normally.

Is there a way that I can help you to find how to reproduce this bug ?

Impossible to configure an other name than id_rsa to SSH key for bitbucket.
