I came across your shell script for installing the latest processing version. Thanks very much for the doing this. I would like to make the suggestion to include install curl into the script to make this this truly automated. My Ubuntu live installation , for example, does not come with curl pre-installed.

Project specific licensing notes in LICENSE should be moved to the README. The LICENSE should be machine readable by only being the entire CC-BY-SA-4.0 license.
The install-linux*.sh scripts install to /usr/local/lib. It works, but this should be changed to /opt/processing.
It is about time to dump grumpy old Oracle Java and embrace the shiny OpenJDK with the new Processing 4 Beta.
Install scripts will need some updating.
