Play

To play Minecraft, please type in a UNIX-like terminal first:

# Github
git clone https://github.com/Minecraft-in-python/Minecraft

# Gitee
git clone https://gitee.com/Minecraft-in-python/Minecraft

cd Minecraft
./install.py

# Run
python3 -m Minecraft

Short-term objectives

The following to-do list, is a list of features to be implemented in Minecraft:

  • Control the character
  • More blocks
  • Interact with blocks
  • World generation
  • Random world generation
  • A rudimentary file selector
  • i18n (some languages)
  • Saving user changes to worlds
  • More terrain
  • Chunk system
  • Use the E key to open the bag
  • ...

Of course, it doesn't end there, these points will evolve and change over time.

Making Minecraft more and more a high quality video game.
