How to reproduce the bug:
Enter text in the editor, with a very long line inside [code][/code] tags. Press the button.

Expected behavior:
Every other line should be shaded, and the shading should continue all the way to the right edge of the box, even when you scroll.

Observed behavior:
The shading stops after 800px.

Thoughs so far:
It seems that the ordered list does try to fill the width of the box completely, however the width it registers is the width set in the stylesheet (style.css). How do we make it update the width dynamically, depending on the width of the actual contents?

How to reproduce the bug:
Open the page in Internet Explorer. Click a button.

Expected behavior:
The relevant tag should be inserted in the textarea.

Observed behavior:
Nothing happens.

Thoughts so far:
Not sure if the error is in the JavaScript, or if the function simply isn't being called. It works perfectly all right in Chrome and Firefox.
