SVG is a whole specification on it's own, see here. There are dedicated libraries for SVG rendering because it is that hard to get right. I doubt SFGUI will ever go in that direction 😉. Maybe if SFGUI were to integrate another library that took care of SVG rendering and use its output it might work, but don't expect this anytime soon.

Thanks! I agree on direction; I like how purpose focused this library is. I found this
which just outputs simple data structures that can be used to draw with. Maybe I can take these data structures and pass them to openGL
?

You can do many things with OpenGL, and even SFML would be powerful enough for this case 😉. In fact, I would recommend using SFML for this as it takes care of a lot of the annoyances that you shouldn't have to care about when coding in OpenGL directly. When you are done writing the SFML SVG renderer, feel free to present it on the SFML projects forum, I'm sure many other people will find it useful 😃.

Awesome, thanks for the input!! I will try to encapsulate svg rendering into a widget that follows the same patterns of the core.
