1. Import Firefox bookmarks to Google bookmarks
2. No warning given that this will completely overwrite existing bookmarks
3. Spend the rest of the day looking at cute kitten pictures to relieve sadness
at losing your Google bookmarks

- At the bare minimum a warning that this action will overwrite all existing
Google bookmarks
- Ideally, an option to choose whether to overwrite or merge Firefox bookmarks
into Google bookmarks

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. From Gmarks menu, right-click on any bookmark or folder to open context menu
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Context menu should be solid (e.g. white background with black border), instead
it's transparent with no border
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
GMarks 1.0.2.1 in Firefox 4 (it); Windows XP SP3

1. I'm using Windows XP standard "Luna" theme;
2. Standard bookmarks and extension context menus are correctly rendered;

Since updating to FF 13.01 the bookmarks icon on my toolbar won't open first
time.(see attached scan URL)

It's just like the very old problem like this right at the beginning of this
project ;-) but at least
I'm using GMarks v1.04 with FF 13.01 on a Win 7 Ult 32bit PC

In the newly Firefox version, the top menu is hidden by default, so it is
better to have add/edit bookmark menu on contextMenu.

Hello,
It would be nice to be able to copy (on a right-click) the URLs from all the
bookmarks from a folder (in the same way as: "Open all in tabs").
NB: This is en enhancement request, but the template is not available on the
project tracker.

2.Signed in still shows sign in in drop down menu.

When I click GMarks --> Organize Bookmarks -->Import
Trying to import all bookmarks from firefox.
just see 1 bookmark imported instead of all bookmarks.
Only 1 bookmark in list getting imported.

1. Installed 1.0.3.1 with Firefox 5 (downloaded today 30-Jun-2011)
2. Looked for where my Google Bookmarks would be displayed
3. Didn't find them

I see the "Bookmark This Page" menu item in the "Bookmarks" drop-down on the
toolbar, and using this does add a Google Bookmark (checked by going to the
Google Bookmarks page), but I can't find where existing bookmarks are displayed
in the UI. There is nothing on the "Bookmarks" menu on the toolbar and nothing
on the main "Firefox" menu.

I deleted the cache and all Favicon is gone.
It will not be reloaded by calling the page.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Trying to enter a new bookmark, OR modifying a existing one.
2. By Quick add gmark then regular add gmark, no error message, however the
bookmark is not properly saved (does not appear the next time). By adding the
bookmark only the regular way (through properties), a error message appears:
"There was an error submitting the following bookmark to Google: Issue 23 -

well, it is not an issue. I just feel the display of gmark icon on FF4 seems
not that perfect, is it possible to make the icon similar style with the
default aero interface of FF4? please check the image attached.

Expected : Bookmarks menu is populated
What I see: Bookmarks menu is empy. Bringing up the side bar by pressing Alt+M
shows the connection dialog. Pressing "Retry" from the side bar or refresh from
the menu loads the bookmarks perfectly

mozilla.debian.net/squeeze-backports on Debian Squeeze amd64).

I see the following lines in the error console :
While creating services from category 'profile-after-change', service for entry
'GMarksCom', contract ID '@mozilla.org/gmarks/com/google;1' does not implement
nsIObserver.

Sorry but GMarks needs updating to work with FF6 ;-)
At the prompt to update FF you see a notice that GMarks is not compatible and
will be diabled.

1. Using Firefox 5, clean FF data by using "clear recent history" (not sure
about translation, I'm using FF in italian; be sure that cookie deletion is
checked)
2. Verify that Gmarks is set to auto-login
3. Close Firefox and reopen it

Expected: successful login

If I manually login to Google, then Gmarks works correctly (I just need to
refresh to see bookmarks); it seems not to manage cookies correctly when

The Strange Thing is, i don't have the problem
on my Laptop running Windows 7 32 Bit and on my Home PC
running Windows 7 64 Bit and Firefox 8 Beta.
Just my freshly installed Work PC is affected.

1. Connect GMarks to proper google account
2. log into a different google account via google.com
3. restart browser - Gmarks is now connected to the google account you last
logged in with, not the one it is supposed to automatically connect to.

GMarks should always load bookmarks from the account I specify in the
preferences, not which account I am currently logged into through the
google.com website.

1. Hit Alt+M
2. Search for a bookmark
3. Pound on the keyboard in frustration since nothing seems to select the
bookmark you found.
4. Reach for your mouse and click.

I'd expect to be able to use ctrl+j/k or at least the arrow keys to select a
bookmark.
