Though android applications can run on the newly released Jolla phone a native
applictaion would be very appealing.
Would you consider releasing one?
Thank you

I congratulate you on having written another OTP client that is compatible with
the Google Authenticator project. The more users have access to a client that
is compatible with their devices the better.
But I am a little concerned that your software could inadvertently be used in a
way that defeats most of the benefits of two factor verification.
It is now very tempting to store the secret key on the same computer that is
used for accessing OTP-protected (web) services. This would allow an attacker
to record both the user's password and to compromise the two factor
verification system.
As security issues are often rather subtle; I suspect there will be users of
your project who don't fully realize the implications of storing the secret key
on their computer. Any OTP client running on a desktop operating system is
potentially at risk of being used insecurely. This is a lot less likely for
mobile clients. Although they admittedly are not completely immune either.
Please consider putting a prominent warning message on your project's home page.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Enable two factor authentication on the Dropbox website
2.Enter details into both Google Authenticator (on android) and
Cuteauthenticator (symbian)
3.The codes shown by both apps are different and only the one generated by
google authenticator is working. Even worse the code shown by cuteauthenticator
is sometimes only 5 numbers long
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect to see the same code. I did notice that the dropbox key is
longer than the one used by google two factor auth, could this be the issue?
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Compiled latest using svn repo
Please provide any additional information below.
All my google accounts work fine using the aforementioned apps.
Let me know if anything else is needed.
