Using the latest version of it, but I'm on Windows 7, and some programs have
some integration to the task bar that shows progress. Examples are Internet
Explorer 8 Downloads, and ImgBurn. Would be nice to have integration of the
timer into the task bar to also see how much time is left.

Great program, I use it to make sure I don't sit in my office chair for too
long at a stretch. It would be handy to have a single instance only option so I
don't end up with lots of unused windows.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Cook timer - 0.92 (Portable apps.com, Windows 7
Please provide any additional information below.
What I will like to see:
1. The time is is configured and I start the countdown
2. The countdown ends (gets to zero seconds)
3. The timer continues counting, until I press "stop" button.
the advantages of this feature (can be enable by another option) is that we can
control the time that was passed since the time ended.

I'm a blind windows user and like your programm. It is very accessible so far.
I can change the settings with the keyboard.
Could you ignore the tab key in the input fields so I could switch between them
with the tab key? It works allready using shift+tab.
I think I'm using version 0.9.2.
Thanks

In addition to the above post ; I am not sure if this feature is currently
there, but it would be nice to have a toolbar, with option such as help, about,
settings, and so on, just like in most other programs

This is a very nice program--While working at the computer I set it to go off
every 15 minutes to remind myself to get up and stretch. What would make it
perfect is an option to change the volume of the alarm. When I am listening to
music, the alarm sometimes will be startlingly loud!
A really nice option would be to have the alarm start quietly and then grow
louder.

Cook timer - 0.92 (Portable apps.com, Windows 7

The program is good, but would be better if it had the option of synchronising
with the time in the PC. This is helpful especially for appointments, where if
it is say 1:00 now and you have a meeting at 3:00, you can set the value at
2:55, without having to work out the time between the two events
Thanks for this great free app

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. start a timer, using any preset or custom
2. observe that the progress bar fills completely in the first second, and then
drains over time, instead of following the convention of filling over time
3.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The progress bar should grow while the timer is running, and end up full. I
should appear empty, but filling when the timer is started, even for large
custom timers.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.9.3, 0.9.5
Please provide any additional information below.
I found this confusing, and thought the program was broken, so I downloaded all
versions to see if it was a new bug.

Just a minor UI improvement - Have "Hours", "Minutes", "Seconds" labels on
top of the NumericUpDown boxes so the user immediately understand what goes
where, instead of having to hover and wait for a tooltip to be sure
Thanks !

Hello,
I started using your program and like it. What I'm writing here is not a
bug or issue but a feature request.
I would like cook timer read presets from windows registry/text file and if
not found fallback to hardcoded values [3,5,10,15] minutes.

not a problem but 2 requests!
- to be able to add/remove time on the fly..
in cases we see that the food needs less (else it will get burned) or more time
... just to avoid doing everything for 0.... stop/re-calculate/set time
- to be able to use it as a simple stop watch too (with pause option too) so we
can track how much time we need for a progress and have it to our records for
the next time..
ok we all have a watch in our house (even the pc watch) but is nice to be able
to set and forget

I am using this on Windows XP.
I would like option that minimizing window will leave it in the task bar, and
task bar button will show dynamic time remaining. I have seen web-based timers
that do this. Thanks!

cooktimer currently allows the user to set the timer length (i.e. the amount of
time the timer runs) directly. I would like to be able to enter a future time
value so that the timer length is determined by the difference between the
entered time and the current time, where the current time is determined when
the user clicks Start.
For example, if the user enters 13:01:01 for the time and the time is 11:00:00
when the user clicks start, the timer is set to run for 2:01:01. A 24 hour max
could be assumed, such that if, instead, the time is 23:00:00 when the user
clicks start, the timer is set to run for 14:01:01.

Enhancement request.
To be able to pass a time value in commandline to start a countdown
automatically with the specified timer value.
E.G:
CookTimer.exe 15 to start the timer with 15 minutes remaining, already started.
This is great for at least 2 scenarios. One is automatedprogram launches
through batch scripts, or from other programs etc.
The other is program launchers, such as Launchy where a user simply presses the
launcher hotkey, followed by "cook" or "timer" and then types the number of
minutes the timer should be.
Great for quick countdowns.

Can the window bring itself to top when the timer expires?
As it is at the moment if the application window is not minimised to the
