What is that?

RRManager is a Redpill Recovery DSM application aimed to provide the ability to configure/update RR without booting to RR recovery. This package is for experienced users.

Features

upload and install update from the DSM
run custom jobs with ui(clean_system_disk.cgi, etc..)

That app is built on the DSM UI framework: Ext.Js 3.4. I didn't find documentaion regarding that framework, so I spent a lot of time to reserch how to build ui and call DSM actions utilyzing that approach. That is why the ui is so unperfect))

Instalation

Download RR Manager spk file from github
Install SPK, specify the path to store RR artifacts
Follow the guide to create necessary resources

How does it work?

During the app install, you can specify the folders to store the RR artifacts during the update process. You can also select the folders and shares created during the installation or populate existing shares.

In my case the share is rr and the temp folder is tmp. So the RR Manager will upload the updated file to the /volumeX/rr/tmp/update.zip.

Please note that you need to upload updateX.zip(updateall-24.3.0), not rr-23.11.1.img.zip. I will add that validation in the future.

v.2.0.2 The interface is blank

After installing version 2.02, even after clearing the configuration, the installation interface remains blank, as shown in the picture

Implement the new onboarding process of the creation tasks

Use only one password prompt to create tasks from scratch
Make sure that tasks will be always recreated without duplicates.
Check the dependencies every on app start

Can't update RR through RRManager

I get an error when trying to update RR through RRManager:

It keeps prompting that the folder does not exist, and you need to restart the suite after creating a new folder.

In fact, the folder is an existing folder.

Move mounting/unmounting loader partitions to the script level instead of app onStart/onDestroy

When installing v.2.0.19, which task schedule was added?

Try to install a new version but you indicate that tasks need to be removed by hand.

I cannot remember which tasks were added when installing v.2.0.19.

N100-DSM7.2-s6400无法安装RRmanager插件

远程访问图标显示不全内存单位不对？

After installing rr-manger(2.0.19), clicking the icon results in an error (in chrome console).

DSM version: DSM 7.2.1-69057 Update 5
rr version: 24.6.5

the error in chrome devtools:

i try to debug the error, find the function _getRrConfig in __checkDownloadFolder will read localStorage, by the key "rrConfig". But chrome devtool cant find it in localStorage Item.

没有适配套件安在volume2的情况

套件安装在volume2，创建的rr文件夹也在volume2，上传升级包后，套件去volume1找升级包

修改序列号、MAC地址保存后，重启DSM修改失效

配置里修改序列号、MAC地址点击应用保存，重启DSM后又恢复初始默认值。
DSM登录用的是非admin、但是具有管理员权限的账号

Fix localization rus

src/app/texts/rus/strings localization language is not correct.
this is not Russian, this is Ukrainian, and there is no translation to Russian yet. leave this file empty.
Transfer this translation to Ukrainian.

“Adddon”界面无法添加插件

原来我没添加“setrootpw”插件，后面的方框内没打勾，再次点击方框打勾以后，点击“save addons changes”保存以后，点击右下脚的刷新。

又恢复了没勾选的状态。

RRManager页面打不开

按照套件安装后的提示地址：

打不开管理页面，报错如下：

已安装rr版本：24.3.9.
套件python3.11已安装。

rr的版本是[24.3.9]
rr-manager版本测试[2.0.24]、[2.0.19]都一样

I cannot access GUI page

Hello!
Whenever I try to access RRManager I get this page

do you know why is it not loading correctly?

“Addons”页面无法调节表格的大小

“Addons”第一次打开时，表格是比较小的，然后鼠标移动至最右边会改变成可调节的样子，但是无法拖动改变右边的位置。

这会导致第一次打开有些项目显示不全。

RRManager 使用问题

不知道为什么安装RR manager插件后一直没办法打开界面都没法看见重装后也是一样

Language change switch

Hey Bro! I find that the rr author commit the language pack for this project.I can`t find the switch to change the lanugage from enu to chs.

build error

src/ui/rr-manager.widget.js should changes to src/ui/rr-manager.js
The command I used was 'make arch-x64-7.2' , wsl2 told me a js file is missing.

No such file or directory: '/volume2/rr/tmp/update.zip'

上传updae.zip文件后确认更新报错：Unable to update RR: [Errno 2] No such file or directory:
'/volume2/rr/tmp/update.zip'. Please upload the file and try againe

原因分析：rrmanager安装在存储空间1，自动在存储空间1创建了/rr/tmp共享目录，上传update文件正常上传到/rr/tmp。确认更新的时候却去读取存储空间2了，截图的/volume2/，所以文件不存在。手动把自动创建的/rr/tmp迁移到存储空间2就正常了
