It would be nice to quickly be able to acces a certain webpage by having it available on a homeydash page.

i.e.:
-favorite newsite
-Latest traffic info
-Weather site
-Public transport delays

This way you can acces already existing webpages when a plugin-widget is not available or suitable for the task.

It's hard to reproduce when it does work because it doesn't most of the time.

Just to have the idea written down:

Since the differences in screen resolutions it's hard to configure on another device. The result may look really stretched on the actual wall mounted device.

It would be nice to have (in the far future) a modus to set the resolution to your most used device so you can configure as if you were looking on that device.

When you activate the option to hide the sidebar after a page reload and then return to the dashboard you arrive at the main page with no page selected and the sidebar hidden.
Maybe it would be better to show the sidebar by default when no page is selected?

When editing the dashboard on an iOS device it is not possible to enter text when adding a widget when you have to give it a name. The keyboard does come up but typing does nothing. Selecting the line also does not work.

Now it loads an empty page with the Pagename parameter as title.

Sometimes (nonchalant) clicking on the dashboard results in a vertical scroll instead of the click you wanted. When the amount of widgets does not require scrolling it would be nice if this would be disabled.

Issue experienced on ipad mini 1st gen

For of all, very nice work!

When I made a App bookmark for my start screen from safari, the resulting App Icon is not nice.

It would be nice to sort the cards in the settings page

I wanted to try getting the the app working on a iPad1 but then I saw that only the compiled code of the dashboard is committed to Github. This way I can't help you with the project.

The error I get on the iPad1 is: failed to instantiate module ng ....
Same thing when I try this in the Chrome browser on iPad1.

The fix could be as simple as changing the loading order (load angular first before the other apps). But I have no idea because I can't see the pre-build code.

Deletes oldest widget on duplicate entries

Don't know if this is an issue of the framework you use. Would be nice if buttons move back to original position when conflict is gone.

A simple clock and/or date widget to add to the Dashboard.

It would be a nice feature to be able to select (or to upload) an icon when adding a widget. This way you can, for example, have a Button widget used for music with a music icon instead of the default.

Enable direct pages without a sidebar. This would make it possible to have tablets that can only switch devices provided on a certain page.

These pages could also have a 'dark theme' to be used for smart mirrors.

Would you mind sharing non-minified JS code?
Makes reading, bug fixing and extending functionality a lot easier.

I added a room called: combinatie's

When i done this i could not add devices or even delete the room.

Using a hardcoded link in the browser i could delete the room.

It seems that the dashboard does not respond, the code seems to be working but the gui not.

When opening settings go to default page directly (when only 1 page available go to that page).

For buttons there is no need to have large sized widgets, it would be nice if smaller widgets (or larger for other widget types) can be selected. This way more devices can be added to a room without having vertical scrollbars.

I think this was already on the list but I didn't see it in the list of issues.
Would be nice to be able to change icons, now the database will be extended.

Since the tablet is near the sleeping room we switch it off at night due to the amount of light it's emitting. It would be nice to have a night modus between fixed times where you can set a dim level to reduce the amount of light emitted.

In a more advanced version, it would be cool to link it to a Homey variable so it can be arranged within flows and linked to user presence.

I really like the Buienradar widget a lot.
It would be nice to have a similar on click functionality as in the RSS widget. On Click could trigger a bigger display of the image or even a zoomed in version with precipitation histogram like: http://www.buienradar.nl/nederland/neerslag/zoom/3uurs?lat=52.046&lon=4.327 .

nice work. It would be awesome if you could make the following options:
One separate Dashboard site for magic mirror iframe:
-Dark mode
-show status of device XXX (lights & switch status or battery level for devices for example Z-Wave)

As discussed on slack: Moving a new widget let other widgets change positions when not intended.

When i click "go to homeydash" the browser let the url with the token reload time and again, it dos not start the dash :-( (running HomeyDash v0.0.5)

I have installed the cloud version and tried to add a widget.
It's not working. The Next button is grayout.

p.s Feature request: starting Flows from dashboard?

For example most lights have the onoff capability but my coffee machine has as well.
Users need to be able to chose the type of device, based on that it should display the correct icon.

I'd like to see a feature for the dashboard that shows the presence of the users. It can be as simple as a list of the registered users with a red (not home) or green (home) dot next to the name indicating if the user is at home or not.

Don't know what your plans are for the future, but why not add the little gear icon to the sidebar like you had before on the V2-version? :-)
That way you don't have to manually go to the /setup page.

Hello,

when you create a page and forget to fill in a name, you will get a "blank" page. this page cannot be deleted. and it is not possible to add devices.
only option is to reinstall the app to remove the blank page.

Now it opens on reload every time. Make a setting so you can hide it on reload.

Makes it more clear that a lamp is turned off on the dashboard.

Better looking icons in svg format for retina displays etc.

Maybe it's possible (later) to add a floorplan in the app. You can check with a short view all the current devices/status.
I think this would be a nice additional option

Don't know if it is very feasible to do so, but would be nice to also include thermostat control.
Currently using the Toon, setting temperature or setting temperature mode would be great.

Workaround now which can be used of course is virtual button with flow attached.

I would like to start created flows from the dashboard.
