Twitterscraper

Using Selenium webdriver and Chrome to scrape tweets from any handle and writing the data into a database using MySQL

Uses PYTHON3

Necessary Python Packages

  • selenium
  • beautifulsoup4
  • pymysql

Must have chrome driver installed http://chromedriver.chromium.org/

Things to Change

Lines 9-13 - change to the name of your database to write the data into Line 24 - change the path to the location of your Chromedriver file

How to Use

Use the twitter search function to find the list of tweets you want to scrape and enter the URL when prompted Then enter the number of Tweets you want to scrape and what you want the database to be called
