Please add git checkout syntax

Feature proposal: add the "how to squash commits" cheat.

It would be ultra cool if you had a way to prompt the user for certain variables and replace them in the script. The Copy function would be 10x better then.

Perhaps store them for next visit in local browser storage?

This command might be useful to remove local branches that don't exist at remote anymore:
git remote prune <remote-name>

Can we help with the UI translation to Spanish?

It would be helpful to have a theme option with both a light site theme as well as a light code editor theme. A lot of folks have trouble reading or looking at high contrast dark themes, even for code editors, including people with astigmatism or who experience migraines. This would be a fantastic accessibility fix, if you could implement it.

Dealing with submodules is very common, adding submodule information would add great value to the project.

Would it be possible to add a Brazilian Portuguese translation to the project? I've been using Git Explorer for a while now, and I'd love to contribute with a translation to Brazilian Portuguese, since it would be helpful to a lot of people I know, and would increase the amount of people who could use the project.

It would be super cool and useful to be able to send a link of a given git command, in case I need to share it with another developer!

I noticed that prop-types is used in the project is missing from package.json.

Adding PUSH in first option

Sir/Mam, I want to add a PUSH option in the first options list and add more commands related to it like (-f ,-u).
I found the "git push origin branchname" in the secondary-options.js


BUT manually on the site I could'nt navigate to it.
If you guys want I will work on these features and generate a PULL REQUEST.

Currently, to force animation of text to be repeated on option change application uses state in multiple places to do it.
It is possible to simplify and improve it by using keys on components that need to be recreated when selected value changes.
I'm happy to submit a PR, but from what I see this repo is not being updated for quite a while.
Let me know if this repo still accepts changes.

Case:

I want to rename the commit message from a published commit

It will be good to have a command to create a branch from another branch (apart from the currently checked out branch).

git checkout -b myFeature dev

git help -w "command"

I was trying to find a way to reset a local file to a version on another branch but could not find anything like this in the reset/revert section.

I found this link https://stackoverflow.com/a/37972822 which helped me solve my problem.

I'm wondering what you think about this and if it's possible to get this added to the project? I could also create a PR if this is alright!

I think this use case can be usefull to add

use case: when a branch is deleted on remote (from github.com for example), this deletion isn't syncronized automatically in local.
This can be done with git fetch --prune.

I can contribute. Just need feature validation for start.

A command to get only the list of all the files that were not staged. I'll be happy to take it and work on it

A rather small issue, but I think change the cursor to cursor: pointer might improve the look of the site. Cheers :-)

It's a neat effect and all, but the current speed appears much slower than I can read which makes the experience a little frustrating. The actual Usage isn't so bad as that's often much shorter but Note can take a while to populate.

I'd suggest providing an option (like Light/Dark mode) to instantly (or at least very quickly) populate the results. Normal/Instant? Normal/Hyperspeed?

commit --amend helps you to modify last commit that you already commit
