There is no mention of this repository on DockerHub, so I had to track this down.

I found changing some values like WEBTHEME or DNSSEC in .env do not have any effect, I have to manually add config value in the yaml to make it effective.

Hi, I have been using your container for a while now but I always struggle with updates/restarts. If it runs, it works. But now I have the situation that I can't recreate the container:

If you encounter this issue regularly because of slow network conditions, consider setting COMPOSE_HTTP_TIMEOUT to a higher value (current value: 60).

Any idea what's going on?

Hi, thanks for this container and documentation. The questions that I have: what are best practices to keep the containers up-to-date? Are you planning to add watchtower for this or do you have other recommendations?
Additionally: is the root.hints automatically updated?

i see that recommendation again an again but this is technically wrong. Caching should be done in pihole, too, so the already looked up entries are cached as well. (Which end in less CPU usage due to less blacklist lookups)
