express-stormpath-sample-project's Issues

Fix Responsive Menu

The nav bar collapses for narrow screen widths but the collapsed menu is not functional.

ForgotPassword Demo Doesn't Act as Expected

When I open this sample application, and attempt to do step 3 (forgot password), here's my experience: http://g.recordit.co/a8FkNaqZjU.gif

bad-experience

After attempting to reset my password, I'm left in an odd state where:

  • I get no confirmation that anything happened.
  • I'm still logged in.
  • I'm kicked back to the dashboard page and step 3 is still not greyed out.

Very confusing.

Jade processing error

Navigate to /register yields this jade processing error from deep within express-stormpath ...

Some pages (Login, Registration) does not include NavBar

It would be much more consistent to have all StormPath provided pages, such as Login, Registration, Forgot Password, etc., displayed with the NavBar header on top. It would improve the over-all consistency and navigability of the application.

Could you guide me on how to achieve this, or fix this in the sample app?

Thanks

I really like your code

It's written precisely the way I would do on my best day, so there is not a trace of impedance mismatch when I read it

Profile page doesnt post

Hello all,

Trying to get this working with my heroku app. I'm using ejs instead of jade and on the profile page I have this:

<form method="post"> <fieldset action="/profile" class="form-group"> <label for="favcolor">Favorite Color</label> <input type="text" class="form-control" id="favcolor" value="<%- user.customData.favoriteColor %>" placeholder="Enter your favorite color"> <small class="text-muted">We'll never share your color with anyone else.</small> </fieldset> <fieldset class="form-group"> <label for="birthday">Password</label> <input type="text" class="form-control" id="birthday" value="<%- user.customData.birthday %>" placeholder="Enter your birthday"> </fieldset> <button type="submit" class="btn btn-primary">Submit</button> </form>

But when I click on Submit it doesn't post anything. Should there be an action pointing to the api?

Thanks.
