Attach/Detach implements

When attaching an implement the script forces the implement to stay at it's lowered state. There are some exceptions made for frontloaders, skidsteers, shovels, telehandlers, combines and hooklift implements. You're still able to attach and detach those implements without having to leave your vehicle. Note: The connection hoses and power take off still require to be attached manually for those implements. In order to detach, the implement needs to be lowered first! Also make sure that the power take off and connection hoses are detached before detaching the implement.

The mod disables attaching and detaching from inside the vehicle (exceptions are mentioned above). Like the mod title already suggests it’s not possible anymore to do the quick switches between implements.. get out that vehicle for real this time!

Attach/Detach power take off

Hit Z in order to attach/detach the power take off.

Keep in mind that a tool needs a power take off, otherwise it can't be turned on!

Attach/Detach connection hoses

Hold Z (for a short amount of time) in order to attach/detach the connection hoses.

Without attached connection hoses the following can occur:

  • You won't be able to control hydraulics (e.g. moving parts, folding, use ridge markers etc)
  • You won't be able to use the lights.
  • Brakes will be blocked.

trigger zone attachment

Hi, unfortunately the change to the trigger points led to some very tight trigger places. I can attach a tool when I'm standing against the back wheels, but I can not attach anything when I'm standing slightly behind them actually looking at the 3point hitch. It is more or less guessing now if I'm in the trigger zone or not.

Slurry tanks

Hello everybody,
I have this mod in connection with "manual coupling" on. The problem I have is that the attachments on the barrel can no longer be disconnected.

  • lower the device / if I then press "v", this activates
    Do you have a solution or trick?

Issue with mod

Hey. Today I tried to use a mod from custom modding https://www.facebook.com/custom.mdg/posts/2170220859684019 (Great Plains YP2425A with fertilizer tank SML1000) but the planter does not work. Hoses are attached but it is not possible to open the planter, and it also feels that the brakes are locked, as if the hoses were not connected. I understand that there can be problems with mods, but if there is an opportunity to fix it, I ask you to do it. I am very grateful for your work, I can not imagine how to play now without your mod.

When I want to detach an implement from the frontloader a nearby standing other implement can be attached, same with implements for the hydraulics. Issue occurs both in SP and MP (Dedi)

Red 'Attaching' symbol on harvesters?

Since version 1.3.0.0 I'm getting a red attaching symbol after attaching the header and the PTO on a harvester, but the harvester works as usual. I checked al around the machine to see if I missed to attach something, but couldn't find anything.

I've tested this with various harvesters on a new career without any other mods activated on GCV, and all of them show the same behaviour. It doesn't happen on other machines with PTOs, like manure spreaders, though.

Is this intended?

Claas DISCO 1100 C only detached when unfolded

I have the problem that I can uncouple the Claas DISCO 1100 C mower unfolded only. Should that be so? For other mowers (as an example Pöttinger Novacat A10 Cross Flow) that works even if they are folded.

Errors in log due to missing tags in Russian translation

When using the latest version of the mod from here I get the following errors in the log.txt:

Error: Missing descVersion attribute in mod FS17_manualAttaching`

This is due to the CDATA tag not being closed correctly, theres the "]]>" missing at the end. There is also a missing ">" behind "ru" in the l10n section for MANUAL_ATTACHING_ATTACH.

Issue after returning contract equipment

Describe the bug
Game freaks out after returning borrowed equipment from a contract job.
Hard to explain as it differs each time, but the most obvious thing I can see is that all the icons disappear from the map. Sometimes certain keys won't work. Manual Attach spams the log.

Noticed this originally on a modded map with quite a few mods installed, but tested on a vanilla map with ONLY Manual Attach enabled to isolate

[BUG] Multi client attach bug

Strange behaviour when trying to attach with multiple clients in MP.

  1. 2 players on the server (host, client).
  2. Player1 is in the vehicle (eg. NH T6), Player 2 approaches the rear to attach/detach (or hoses or PTO) the machine (eg. Forschritt HW 80) = no option.
  3. Player 2 gets into the vehicle and gets off, now Player 2 can attach/detach whatever he wants but Player 1 does not.
    The same happens after changing roles, regardless of who is the host and who the client.

Attaching/detaching triggers of loaders disappear

Telehandlers, front loaders and wheel loaders all got this bug, afaik, possible that other in-cab attachable stuff has it too.

Sometimes the attach trigger for loader equipment disappears.
It appears to be related to leaving and entering the vehicle.

In the video below the attach trigger literally disappears a couple seconds after leaving and entering the loader.
The tabbing resets the triggers.

Sorry to say I've got no better way to reproduce this. It's just plain weird =P

Frontloader tool can be detached after detaching frontloader

Hello,
I found a little bug in manualAttaching.
If you detach a frontloader which has an shovel attached, and you enter the tractor you can detach the shovel from the fronloader, even tho the FL isn't mounted.

(sorry for the lag but my 1050TI doesn't like recording :P, i guess the stuttering of the FL comes from More Realistic, but that's not the problem)

Client cannot attach tools from the vehicle

  1. Join the server as a client.
  2. Buy Manitou MLT737 and Magsi telehandler log fork.
  3. Get into the vehicle and try to attach tool.
  4. The option appears for a split second and disappears. The host can attach tool without any problem.
    When the host attach tool the client can detach it, but can no longer attach it.

cant exclude attacer types

Hi, in the new version of manualAttach I can't add attachers to ignore. Is there something I've missed? I used to add them in the manualattach.lua together with the lines like this

the last one is the one I wanted to add as most tractors I use would in real life attach the low trailer attacher with a leaver dropping a hook from inside the tractor.

adding it was ok in the earlier versions, but now it throws this in log when starting the game:

Cant connect PTO on Claas Lexion 700 v4 pack

Hello Wopster,

Hi Wopster, is it possible to disable the "Manual Attaching" script for one mod only? (The Claas Lexion 700 series v4 pack doesn't want to do that the way I want it to...)
It would be great if you could give me a little help there...

The Problem is, i cant connect the claas conspeed 8 75 FC to the harvester. With the Claas Vario Cutter it works.

I know its a bug caused not by you´re mod. But maybe you help me nevertheless.

Issue between CaseIH 1660 and the Case IH Corn Cutter

It seems to be an issue to connect the PTO between the Case IH 1660 and the Case IH Corn cutter from Matt26 on modhub. It seems like the Case IH 1660 cant connect to any PTO's from the corn headers but from the usual headers. Just thinking if its a manualAttach bug.

PTO visually detached after reloading save

Tested on a new save with only MA and the Claas DLC.
PTO appears detached after reloading the save. The trailer still works.
Need to detach and re-attach to fix the visuals.

How to reproduce:

  1. buy a tractor, front weight and loading wagon (happens with other pto powered equipment too)
  2. attach front weight (Before attaching the trailer!)
  3. attach the trailer
  4. reload the savegame.
  5. PTO appears detached.

Amazone FT 1001 liquid fertilizer tank

When trying to detach the tank there is an error saying I have to lower the tank first. The problem is that I couldn't lower the tank from inside the tractor. I was using a basegame Fendt 700 series with narrow tires.

Disconnecting implements which can only be lowered while unfolded.

Some implements like the Kuhn SR 312 Rake ( windrower ) cannot detach unless it's lowered. It need to be unfolded to be lowered and will the take up a lot of storage space in a shed. I have come a cross a few 3rd party implements where this is also an issue.

I would suggest adding the some functionality to allow force detach an implement if hoses and PTO is all ready disconnected. ( it could be something like holding the "Q" key will detach no matter if an implement is lowered or not )

Hi, i just wanted to leave a big Thank you for this great mod. I can no longer imagine how to play without manual attaching anymore.
Its really impressive to see what modders like you can do with this game.
I hope you always find energy and motivation to make the game more realistic and fun :)

Hi the hoses are impossible to disconnect on the m160.

Attach/detach hoses and pto is on the same inputs as attach/detaching the implement

[BUG] Functions work without hoses and the PTO

If the hoses and PTO are not connected, you can still unload the trailer. The brake lock works.

  1. Buy Vlatra S and Strautmann Aperion 3401
  2. Attach them without hooking the hoses and PTO.
  3. Start the unloading of the trailer (to the silo or to the ground).
  4. The front wall moves and opens the flap (hydraulics), the floor moves and rear rollers rotate (PTO).

Can't detach Samson Agro D 12

Hey,

so I can't detach the Samson Agro from the PGII 25.

It always says "Lower xxx" but when I lower the Agro D12 than the implement unfolds and if you lower it, it automatically turns on, so after that you can't detach the connection hoses, because it says "First turn off xxx".

Would be cool if this could be fixed, I use the V1.0.1.1.

But really gotta say thanks for this awesome mod, it's really cool.

[BUG] ITRunner MOD works without PTO attached

ITRunner mod arm works also without PTO attached

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Buy ITRunner
  2. Attach to a tractor without attaching PTO
  3. You will see "extend the arm"

Expected behavior
Arm should move only with PTO attached to the tractor?

AlwaysTurnedOn vehicles can't be detached

Vehicles which are alwaysTurnedOn (tag: e.g. <turnOnVehicle isAlwaysTurnedOn ="true"/>) can't be detached, because the warning 'Turn off implement' appears when trying to detach the implment.

Feature Request on dynamicHoses

Goedenavond,
As written on VD Discord, I'd like to make a request on adding a objectChange tag for dynamic hoses.
For example, rotationActive/inactive, translationActive/inactive and visibilityActive/Inactive.

Can't attach a maize header to combine

Hello, with activated manual attach I could't attach a maize header to a combine. After deactivating the mod everything worked fine.
Tested with the original small Giants Case combine (Modhub) and the two small maize header.
There were no errors, I simply didn't got the option to attach it (inside or outside of the combine)

New Holland CR10.90 can not start

Hello,

I Can't start the New Holland CR10.90 i've get in a mission. Without the manualAttach mod i get from the ModHub in v1.0.1.1 its work. So its must a Problem with the Mod. There are no log entries

Anderson DLC XTractor "freezed"

If I buy/lease or restart a savegame, the Anderson DLCs XTractors can´t be folded/unfolded and lights can´t be switched. They have to be attached and detached to a tractor first.
If I end game with the wrappers unfolded they can´t be attached at the next game start because the hitch is stored under the baler.

Tested with manualAttach 1.0.1.0

Dedi - Mowers only work with detached PTO

Hello,

we occured an issue. On our Dedi we could only activate the mowers when the PTO was detached.
With attached PTO the mower would deativate itself instantly.

Logs were clean, when needed I can provide the client and server log

Poetinger NOVACAT 301 ED don't work

Poetinger front mower with Fendt 500 Favorit.
Manualattach Version from Modhub.

The front mower has no hoses, but does not work without hoses (can't unfold it). Can someone confirm this or is am I wrong?

Issue with Claas DLC

Hello,

ManualAttach does not seem to work at all with the Tucano 580 combine with Corio 875C maize header from the Class DLC pack. It seems only this combination has issues, as ManualAttach works perfectly with the same combine with the Vario 770 header and the larger Lexion 8900 combine with both larger headers.
