gttext crashes when open with autoit

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Open GT-Text with an automation system (Autoit)
2.Try to click drag around text
3.Once the click/drag is complete the software will crash every time

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output is a group of numbers OCR'd. Instead the software crashes
when it tries to process.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 1.4.5 on Windows 7 Professional

Please provide any additional information below.

There is a good amount of time between the opening of the .exe file (2-3
seconds) and the operation of the OCR. The Autoit does work if I run it with
GT-Text open already.

Correct recognition with one line but not multiple lines

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Take a screen shot from www.raspberrypi.org and past it in Gt-text.
2. Set Tools | Area Text OCR
3. Click and drag 1 line or multiple lines of text

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Correct text. I see correct text for 1 line, but if I mark multiple lines is
see mostly gibberish, very few characters recognized.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.4.4 on Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.
