dualsense-edge-profile-web-application's Introduction

DualSense Edge Profile Web Application

The main objective of this project is to enable profile modifications, creation, and deletion for the DualSense Edge controller. It aims to assist users in configuring joystick inputs, button mapping, and trigger registrations without relying on a console.

img.png

Functionality

Currently, users can edit profiles on their DualSense Edge controller (Profile name and joystick sensitivity). Keep in mind that it will only work by using USB protocol if you want to make changes on your Edge controller. Bluetooth will work partially. Additional features are under development.

Why is this app build exclusively for web browsers?

The main objective is to ensure cross-compatibility and easy accessibility of this tool. However, it currently requires modern Chromium web browsers due to its utilization of the experimental WebHID API. To determine if your browser is compatible, you can refer to the MDN web docs.

dualsense-edge-profile-web-application's Issues

Troubles Setting Back Paddle Buttons

Hello,

Thanks for fixing the Response Curves, they seem to work perfectly now!

But I'm having a new issue where I am unable to set the back paddle buttons.

How to reproduce:

  1. Select a Profile
  2. Left Paddle = Cross
  3. Right Paddle = Circle
  4. Setting Profile Name to "Test"
  5. Save Button
  6. Profile "Test" is set to Controller
  7. Close Browser Tab
  8. Return to https://ds-edge-configurator.com/
  9. Profile did not save

Would love to see this issue resolved as I recently deleted and cleared some older profiles for testing purposes.

Thank you!

Great tool

I recently got a DualSense Edge and stumbled on this website as I don’t have a ps5. What an amazingly neat little tool. Are there any plans to add functionality for analog stick deadzones?

is there a way to delete the saved data off computer?

Is there a way to make it when I click fn+profile it doesn't work, and it's like I never used the site? Recently got a ps5 and can't stop the profile switching even after deleting data from site settings. Is it saved to the computer?

Removing "FN + X, O, △, □"

Hey there, first thanks for this great tool as I do not owe a ps5 but I do have a Dualsense Edge. Do you think that could be possible to add the functionality to remove the combination to change profiles with "FN + X, O, △, □", that would give plenty of room for new configs with steam input or reWASD.

Thanks.

Unable to set Response Curves (Stick Sensitivity)

Hello,

I am unable to set the Stick Sensitivity on both the Left Stick and the Right Stick. I have tried various options such as Digital, Quick, and Precise but whenever I swap to Button Assignments and back it goes from the chosen sensitivity to Default.

After saving and closing the page, I saw that the profile had been saved on the Controller but checking Gamepad Tester it looks like the value sensitivity doesn't change from the default. This was tested by holding the right stick at a certain value and swapping between the 4 different profiles created. I assumed it would change right stick values but I'm not seeing it change.

I'd love to see this feature fixed if possible since I don't own a PS5. Thank you so much for your work, this is exactly what I've been looking for and everything has been looking awesome!
