The main navigation menu seemed to be transparent so it will be overlapping with contents when we scroll down.

Is there a way to make it not transparent ?

I'm having trouble deplying to Netlify.

I have a similar problem to that of issue #7 and #17
However after trying those solutions it still doesn't work for me.

I have a nice working first version of a website, but I'm having issues deploying it with netlify.

Working locally

my website works perfectly when using hugo sever with local host.

Setup

I added it as a submodule and made sure to follow the instructions perfecty,

I set everything up correctly with netlify, following the process I've used for other hugo sites.

but I get this error in netlify:

Error checking out submodules: Submodule 'themes/portio'
Permission denied (publickey)
fatal: Could not read from remote repository
Please make sure you have the correct access rights

I've worked with other hugo themes and I've never had this issue before.

Are there any extra steps I need to take to stop having the error message Permission denied (publickey). that netlify produces?

Attempts to fix

Like mentioned at the beginning I did try the solutions mentioned #7 and #17

I change baseURL to use https instead of http and I also installed hugo extended through snap.

Previously I had hugo installed from the Arch Linux AUR, but I uninstalled that one to use extended version with snap. which seems to work without any issues with hugo server

How do we properly add "Skills" on the webpage header? I added them in the config.toml file but could not link it to the Skills section.

First of all thank you for the theme, it's been really easy to work with and customize!

I just have one small issue: I have 7 items under the service section, but only 5 show up and it is not very intuitive that you have to click/drag to let the last 2 appear. Is there a way to add some sliding/slick dots under the section, to make it obvious that not all the items are shown?

I've used quite a few hugo Themes and never had issues with github/netlify.

I love this theme and will be great if you can help with it.

Cloned the repo and ran it locally. Everything works fine but some of the UI components are not rendering properly which is causing distorted UI for me. Tried on both chrome and firefox but same result.

I see that the last commit dates back from 6 months ago and there are several pull requests and issues still open.

Does this mean that this repo/theme is not maintained anymore?

I’m always a bit scared to use a theme which is not actively maintained anymore.

I tried installing your module and in order to get it to work I had to rename your file because it now uses hugo.toml if it finds one and any new site has one.

I'm running the theme locally and facing this issue:

• When scrolling down, the navbar color is not change. It remains transparent.
• The create service lists are also not displayed vertically but it displays horizontally.

How do I insert image from the local directory? I place my images in the static folder. However, I could not have it display on my blog post.

Hi, how are you?
I am having issues adding opengraph, twitter cards and schema tags to my site.
Opengraph defaults to my fallback image("images = " that i had to set up otherwise would have no image)
Twitter card only shows a summary no image.
I tried editing gohugo's versions and adding featureImage and postImage but it fails to build.
I have already set up [author] in the config.
Kindly help me display both post images and the image set for Home.

But seems you guys are expert in making this awesome template, do you have any suggestion where should I put the API key?

I don't think the config.toml is secure enough?

I have tried several methods found on the internet to implement a search option and add a page for tags and categories, but nothing works with this theme. As a non programmer, its hard for me to do this. Can you give me a good documentation which will work with this amazing theme?

In the skillSection.html partial the "Skill Image" is hardcoded to images/skill/skill_image.jpg rather than being configurable via the skillSection.yml

I updated the youtube link in hero.yml, but it still plays the old video. Is it hardcoded anywhere?
when I hover over the link it shows the correct URL, but when I click it, it plays the old one.

The previous Hugo templates had TAGs. So it show the tags in the bottom of the blog. And if I click on any tag, it brings all relevant blogs with same tags. Is there a way to get same functionality? Thanks.

Hi, I'm experiencing issues with pagnation. The page numbers go out of the screen on mobile.

Is there a fix?

The idea is to show a back to top button only after scrolling with CSS.

This article shows some methods that only use CSS, no JS.

I especially like this method with a fading button.

What do you guys think?

I was looking at the images such as static/images/service/ui-ux.svg.
I would like to add more of them and was wondering where you found them?

Are these files left over? The exist here https://github.com/StaticMania/portio-hugo/tree/master/exampleSite/static/images/blog but git grep isn't returning where they are used.

Is it possible to upgrade to bootstrap 4.5.3, there are a few fixes in it that I need.

Hi, i like this theme, thank you for it.
I recently added notes to it but i am facing an issue.
I made a new archetype, a list and single, a new directory under content, notesSection.yml, notesSection.html.
Upon deploying my website, it displays my notes on the blog area while leaving the notes area blank, how can i make sure notes appear on the notesSection and not on the blogSection.
The page note renders the notes fine, my issue is in the homepage.

Stupid question: I want to change the colors on this theme?

I see the assets/scss/_variables.scss, but how do I adjust them without changing them inside the theme itself?

Also, while I'm at it, maybe it'd be nice to add this override to the documentation or exampleSite.

If I create a file in the content directory (let's call it whatever.md) and use hugo server to render the page for editing, I cannot access the page using localhost:1313/whatever/ - it remains white/empty. This also doesn't work if I create a folder named whatever under content and rename the file to index.md or _index.md. Am I doing something wrong or is this an error?

Hi, I'm having the issue of setting this up with Github Pages and was looking for assistance.

I have created a new Hugo site and added Portio as a submodule, then copied the files from the exampleSite to my root. The site will build and run locally.

Initially I had an issue with the submodule that linked to this: link. To fix this, I changed the submodule from ssh to https.

But now, I'm getting a new error on my repo's Pages settings:
