Hey, your package is amazing. So far we used wdio-screenshot but that changes the viewport to take screenshot of an element. Which works fine but taking screenshot of a hovered element cannot be done if you change the viewport just take a screenshot (hovered state will be gone).

But starting from wdio version 4 everything is sync unless you set sync to false in wdio.conf.js (source: webdriverio/webdriverio#1150 (comment))

So we took your module and:

• we turned into a service
• changed the async commands into sync
• added support for retina screen to calculate the bounding rect

Since Firefox 48 geckodriver 0.11.1+ is needed: SeleniumHQ/selenium#2559

To make this:

• selenium-standalone must be updated to version 5.8
• add extra parameter in desiredCapabilities
