I have been playing during 2 hours and suddently my account has been reset. I am now lvl 1. I think Niantic will not allow our accounts on WP.

Hey could you make the background of the catching screen like this?

Could you add range detector in order to allow to more precisely detect whether pokestops are within range? In offical app you have an increasing circle to help you know what it your range. At the moment you see all pokestops nearby but most of them are usually out of range.
I included an screenshot to show you how this looks on official app.

The square boxes don't look great on the Start Screen or All Apps List.

I Download the file .appx, I Copy on my phone, I open a manager file and I want install application, I tap to "Install" and i come back to manager file and application doesn't install in my phone, I don't understand that. I have Lumia 730 with W10, I make a Sideloading.

when a pokemon escapes. you are still getting xp and candy.

(oh and maybe, make the escaping animation like the original where he pops out the pokeball.)

Hello! I have few, little problems..

1. I can run application only after log in, becouse then, when I close it, I can't run it anymore - Only reinstall, and log-in after this works.(When I once close this app, I can't log-in again before reinstall) When I try to run it after it was closed I have just this square icon with cross inside, and after few seconds application closes.
2. I can't see any pokemons, or pokestops nearby.
3. I can click at "Nearby" pokemons, but if I click at pokeball icon - nothing happens. - Or nothing should happen ? ;d
4. My avatar don't moving, when I'm moving.

Crash when trying to get the VibrationDevice. As the type is not supported on desktop?

Can you please make the screen turn with you as you move, so you know where that 2d character is supposed to be facing. The least you can do is make the map move with the compass, and we can turn that off by simply pressing on the compass icon. Thanks.

First time I ran the app it was working fine, but the second time I ran the app it crashed, and now it keeps on crashing (I tried to turn off my phone on and off but it doesn't work).

This problem arisen when I was travelling (on skateboard, but probably with going by foot one would get the same problem) and could not see any pokestops (or pokemon for that matter). While application is doing find job locating me and moving 'me' on the map, it looks like it does not have time to upload pokestops near me until I'm moved a little again.
I'd guess that first you take the GPS position and then, based on those position, you try to load surrounding pokestops. However when moving this isn't working at all.
I think you'd have to load temporary positions of pokestops in a little bigger range and then make some of them active based on your location with pokestops data loading not every time gps locations change but from time to time.

It would be nice to be able to see the Pokemon we've caught :)

I can't open app on second start. Maybe i did something wrong?

In the normal app you can see the pokestops that are unavailable as purple. Then when it becomes active again it turns back to blue.

We should be able to adjust the map mode being used, e.g:

• Roadside
• 3D
• Satellite

etc

So I just cought a Pokemon. It then disappeared from the map, but since then it will reappear every like 20 seconds then the phone vibrates and then its gone again. That happend in an endless loop.

Its there for a shorttime, the phone vibrates and then its gone. Also the Pokemon displayed in the right bottom bar disappear there too.

Another Problem I guess is, when I caught the Pokemon and restart the app, I can catch the Pokemon again at the same place.

Having google login would be nice as some who have gotten few levels on some other phones could use their old accounts.

In the official app you CANT move the map,which you can in this one.When you scroll side to side with your finger in the official one,the screen moves around the trainer,so you can see what is around you.
Edit:Also you should limit zoom and de-zoom(don't really know how to say that) so I CANT see my entire country.

First, I'd like to thank you for developing this app, it's really great and despite the missing functionalities, the base feels better than the initial version of the original application. I may myself look at some point into your code and submit you some code change proposal.

I've been out trying out your application because i don t want to walk with a tablet. At first it worked well, but as time passed i found bugs and ended up with it being unuseable while switching over to android worked perfectly fine on version 0.31. I m using a lumia 950.

Here are my bugs :

• (major 1.0.3.0 - seem fixed on 1.0.6.0) I'm unable to display any pokestop or pokemon after playing until reaching level 4-5 where it was working fine when i switched over to the android app.
• (major 1.0.3.0 - seem partially fixed on 1.0.6.0) In some areas, all pokemons and pokestops disapear the second they appear. Sometime, my phone kept vibrating every second to tell me a pokemon appeared again with nothing on my screen.
• (major 1.0.3.0 - major 1.0.6.0) The map is locked in 3d position and moving-zooming around misplace everything. It's my personal opinion but I believe users would rather have a working simplified 2D map and it would simplify development of positioning, no ?
• (major 1.0.6.0) Sometimes crashes after interacting with a pokestop or after capturing a pokemon.
• (minor 1.0.3.0 - minor 1.0.6.0) The map orientation and zoom are lost after catching a pokemon or interacting with a pokestop
• (minor 1.0.3.0 - minor 1.0.6.0) Pokemons appear sometimes quite far from my location.
• (minor 1.0.3.0 - minor 1.0.6.0) the map is always using night mode. is there a way to change this?
• (minor 1.0.6.0) Pokestops are loaded from 500m+ away from my location.

I updated my post by shortly testing 1.0.6.0 and removed enhancements because they were fixed.

Every time a pokemon shows up and I go to throw the ball it always flees. I haven't caught one since installing this version.

I had the app working for a while, then it started to crash on me when loading. So I uninstalled the app, then tried to reinstall the app. Now everytime I try to deploy the app I get this "Failure reason: Failed to start deployment. Failure text: Package could not be registered. (0x80073cf6)" error message. Anyone else have this issue?

I installed the app, and after the first launch i was able to login but then the app searched for gps signal and then suddenly it crashed and now it crashes everytime while starting the app. Even after soft reset.

While trying to install the app with device portal , it stops and says (IN RED) Uploading NaN%

This message may be related to authentication token expiration, I need more time to investigate it.
When this happens, please click on "yes" and restart the app.

Hi! I really like your work and I'm happy to see that now I can play with my W10m device too :D .
We will never get AR and 3D but that's not a problem. I prefer the old GBA Pokemon games and I think sprites and other kind of UI-related material would be easier to find for you and it will give a more nostalgic but original look.

Is there a possibility to make an inbuild updater? So we will receive the newer updates from within the app, there are apps who are doing this so it must be possible?
