• Logo at the top is smaller
• Menu bar moves closer to the top; grey boundary lines (what are they called - frames?) are removed throughout the site and we do something with a v. subtle shading to distinguish the menu bar.
• Make a good font choice.
• Browse Item tweaks for consistency
• Browse collections tweaks for consistency

• Make the image predominate over the metadata to highlight the parts of the metadata that are more immediately useful (ex. tags, description (if present))
• Condense the rest of the metadata fields
• Remove metadata headers (Dublin Core, Item-Type metadata)
• Still have thumbnails for each page of multi-page items, but at the bottom in condensed gallery format.
• Add a subtle, small line that keeps track of where the user is in the collection (example)
• Some solution for multi-page documents (OpenSeadragon?)
• For multipage items, each page needs a distinct URL

From @ATErickson:

• Prioritize audio player and description of interviewee over metadata
• Figure out how to deal with transcripts. Make a v. visible link to the transcript (now it's just another metadata field) and, ideally, create a linked page that would open up in a new window.
