There will be a login form with fields like
email/phone number
password.
login button
vendor/customer switch
The switch will help the backend to verify the user status and UI will redirect to their own dashboard page on the basis of the returned response.
Navbar should have 3 sections -
Brand logo(Text for now) --> Extreme Left side
links --> Left side after branding
login/register button --> Extreme right side
Avatar should appear after user logins and it should be placed extremely right
For mockups and UI, you may refer to below websites -
https://www.eventkart.co.in/
https://www.myeventkart.com/
https://www.wedmegood.com/
Need to decide the number of links in the navbar. That can be decided as we proceed. Feel free to add placeholder names.
Vendor registration API should be integrated into the developed registration page.
Details about tech stack at every level.
Listing of probable components.
Basic data interaction diagram.
This is TBD. More information will be added soon.
The goal is to create lorem ipsum
pages for all the links provided either in the navbar or in the footer. This is dependent on issue #1
Add the below fields to the business registration page -
Business name (If any)
Primary owner name
Business email
Password
Phone number
Address
City
zip
Category
Additional Comments
When a user enters the domain name they should land on the Home page that describes -
About
Services we are providing
Who are welcome
Why should you join our community
Any reviews received by our customer*
Small gallery slider*
Any other content you might want to add*
It needs content. For the time being, we will use lorem ipsum
in these sections.
Moving all unrelated development information to Wiki pages
Possible candidates -
Tailwind CSS
Bootstrap
Bootstrap + Reactstrap
Bootstrap + React-Bootstrap
Any other option you want to consider.
Need to have more discussions.
Basic validations such as - missing mandatory fields and duplicate user details are already implemented in the backend. UI (vendor and customer) should have additional form validations such as email format, Phone number format zip code. Feel free to add more validations and mention them here in the issue.
There should be two buttons at the bottom of the landing page -
Plan your event -> Clicking on it will route you to the Customer registration
page.
Find experts -> Clicking on it will route you to the login
page.
Depends on #5
Once #6 is out of the way, go ahead and integrate login API to the UI. API endpoints will be added here soon.
Add the below fields to the customer registration page -
Name
Email
Password
Phone number
City
zip
Customer registration API should be integrated into the developed registration page. Make sure you are sending some parameters to the backend to distinguish between customer and vendor.
Once customer logins successfully route them to the customer dashboard page.
Once vendor logins they should be redirected to the vendor dashboard page.
This is TBD. More information will be added soon.
