[BOUNTY] DULLAHAN SPECIES IMPROVEMENTS 75 usd (negotiable) about s.p.l.u.r.t-station-13 HOT 10 CLOSED

I've been waiting for this for so long. The one thing that I'd like to see outside of what's in the bounty is a non-undead dullahan race, like a portal/bluespace variant that is just an ordinary human whose head is just detached via portals or bluespace bullshittery.

This could probably be done seperately, like a fleshlight portal type toy thing after once i've worked all the funny kinks out of the race.
I just feel like making Dullahan breath and eat might break the race.

I really like the idea of a wearable that turns you into a dullahan temporarily, but I would also like an actual roundstart non-undead full dullahan race so I don't have to rush to a vendor every round or spend loadout points just to play my character.

Skyrat's old codebase had dullahans that had to eat and breathe, actually. The only real issues were that they ate and breathed through their bodies instead of their heads, but as long as you kept your head with you and didn't go on spacewalks it was a non-issue for the most part.

Thats totally fair, if i get someone interested in the bounty I might consider adding the eating thing, but I personally like not having to breath, i feel like it would have to be some weird mechanic with spacesuits that I don't wanna bother with to be honest. Because I like being able to go on Lavaland and into space as an engineer. Though I probably won't make the head wearable, i just feel like it doesnt fit the idea of a dullahan too well. like yea I've seen it in media and art but im going for purest "headless horsemen" Type. I think it makes the species more intrigueing vs, hey lol look a party trick i can do, pops head off lmao.

What I'm talking about is a second, separate non-undead dullahan race, so there'd be the undead one we already have and a new one that needs to eat and breathe. As far as I can tell, it's actually mostly just a copypaste job so I might be able to do it myself once this bounty is claimed unless it gets done along with the bounty.

Oh I see I see, yea it probably would not be too difficult. but may wanna give it like a varient name, like here is an idea
Living dullahan = DemiDullahan Undead Dullahan= Dullahan so it seperates out in the Character creator, and eventually we plan on adding Anthromorph Dullahan
Idk like different strains of the curse. Just a thought

I was already planning on giving the living variant a different name. I was thinking just 'Living Dullahan' or something, but I do like your idea. If it's as easy as I think it is to make variants like this, I most likely will go ahead and make living and undead anthromorph dullahan variants as well. Of course that would leave us with 4 different dullahan races, but hey more variety is generally a good thing.

To be honest @Gamer-Johnson Too many Dullhan subspecies might cause issues, but its really up to mosley what gets added to the game.
