specklerevitreboot's Issues

Issue with units

From Jeroen on slack:

I encountered a similar problem when I updated to the newest version of Speckle (1.8.19.310).
It is about the same workflow (Revit > Speckle > Revit) and there is again something wrong with the column offsets (So that's why I post it in this thread).
I've made a new stream from Revit elements: https://hestia.speckle.works/#/view/qwU62nYbC
When I import this stream in Revit the top offset of the column is not 10 000 mm anymore, but 32,8 mm. Might be a metric/imperial conversion bug?
Please see the attached screenshot, which hopefully makes it a bit more clear. On the right the original structure, on the left the received one. If you need any more info please let me know!

RAM adds up quickly when sending large number of objects

I tried to create a Sender that sends a view with 8387 elements. CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess 's RAM adds up to about 3GB and didn't decrease after sending, even after I closed SpeckleRevit window.
Is there any way to limit SpeckleRevit RAM usage? Because when RAM usage is too high, Revit and SpeckleRevit will crash (happened most of the times for me).
SpeckleRevit devtools shows that every object was logged to console, which I believe is related to this line: https://github.com/speckleworks/SpeckleUiApp/blob/master/src/components/ClientSender.vue#L189
Although console history is limited to 1000 lines, I think it was time (and maybe RAM) consuming.

Unable to create Sender. Could not access custom SpeckleServer.

I'm running a custom SpeckleServer on my virtual machine. I'm able to login to Web UI and create Projects, Streams there.
I installed SpeckleRevit and use it with Revit 2018. I was able to create Sender and sent data to hestia server.
For my custom SpeckleServer, I logged in successfully in SpeckleRevit, but when I added a new sender and choose that server, SpeckleRevit said Could not access that server (is it online?) or no server Selection.
Is there any specific configuration to be able to send data to custom SpeckleServer?

Support for Rooms

Are there any plans to add support for Revit Rooms in the Speckle Revit plugin? IE including the 2D polygon of a room boundary and associated meta data about the room in the Speckle Stream?

First addition of sender or receiver results in modal display error

Expected Behaviour

Modal closes and displays window listing Senders and Receivers cards.

Actual Behaviour

Display artifact showing a collage of both states.
