TypeError: secretbox.close is not a function about discord-music-bot HOT 5 CLOSED

Firstly I've tried to reproduce this on my machine but I can't seem to get it to throw that TypeError.

But I've done some digging and come across the following two issues:

• discordjs/discord.js#2053
• Fiddlekins/podbot#15

So it may be an issue in Discord.js (though their issue is closed) or I'm missing a dependency or something.

Could you provide me with a little bit more info such as your OS, any further error logging/messages from the console (a stack trace would be awesome if it's there).

Hi again, sorry this is taking so long - real life stuff takes my mind away from working on these things (hence why I'm so slow at updating the project)

Could you try installing sodium to the same location as you npm i'ed discord-music-bot?

npm i sodium

as per Fiddlekins/podbot#15 this might fix the issue for you.

I'll dig my own raspberry pi out this weekend and see if I can reproduce there and subsequently fix it for the repo.

Hi there,

I haven't had a response for almost 24 days now so I'm going to assume that you've either resolved the issue or aren't worried anymore.

I'm mostly confident that by installing sodium this error is resolved and while I haven't tested it myself yet - I'm working towards putting this bot on a raspberry pi for my own server so if it does pop up and I can reproduce it then I'll add a fix to the repo at that point.
