Installing LOTS

gem install lots

Running the Game

Just type "lots" on the console.

Platform Specific Notes

Windows

I highly recommend the cmdr console prompt with the Consolas font.

Mac

For best results, use the "Professional" terminal profile.

Linux

The default terminal for KDE or XFCE works great with LOTS. I tested it with those, but others should work well.

lots's Issues

Add rest / sleep

Suggestion: add rest and sleep

both can take a delay, e. g. 60 seconds
and regenerate hp or something like that.

Add Readline support

Cursor keys can work via:

Readline.readline('')

perhaps it can be tried automatically. via a rescue.

If possible, then user input is read via readline. Otherwise
default to stdin.

Specify width on the terminal

Nice effort!

It would also be nice if we could specify a width such as 80 chars per line or
so.

Right now the lines are really long on KDE konsole here. Perhaps --width=82
or so to be passed into bin/lots could work.
