Code Overview

Dependencies

  • responsive-nav - For responsive navigation with fast touch screen support
  • prism - For syntax highlighting
  • s-ago - Human readable relative times (eg. 4 minutes ago)

Getting started

Requirements

  • Jekyll: Read up on how to install
  • Git: For downloading the source code
  • Node.js 8.x and npm 6.x: For installing the dependencies and running the application

First time setup

# Clone the repository to your system
git clone https://github.com/sonnienguyen/sonnie-nguyen-portfolio.git

# Build and install gem locally
bundle install

# Install the dependencies
npm install

Running locally

  1. To start the web server, run:

    npm start
  2. To access the local server, enter the following URL into you web browser:

    http://localhost:8080/
