I think would calling the repo scretch is a bit too generic. Usually neovim's plugins are named with the prefix nvim- or with the .nvim at the end. It is a minor thing but worth considering for a minute.

Names ideas:

• scretch.nvim
• nvim-scretch
• scretch-nvim

What solution would you like?
The only feature missing between JetBrains' implementation and Scretch's seems to be execution in context of the project. As a developer, a lot of times I need to run scripts that use classes or functions from the project for which I am writing the script. JetBrains allows me to run the script in context of the project (Basically runs the script as if it were being run in the root directory of the project).

It'd be cool to be able to preview markdown directly from scretch files

An idea would be to integrate with Glow somehow.
Another way would be Markdown preview but I don't like that it opens the browser.

The idea is to have some git integration, vanilla or with Fugitive idk, to be able to sync scretch files between environments.

Features I'd like to see:

• easy syncing between devices with Git like at startup
• easy configuration
• git plugin integration (fugitive, etc...) ?
• automatic save with ability to configure time interval and ignore some file extensions
• no merge conflicts resolution. Something simpler like if you open a scretch with remote changes, a simple popup asking for confirmation before applying the changes, or something like that idk.

I have considered simply adding a Git repo directly in the folder but I think it'd be cooler to have it automatically set up from the plugin config, as when you sync your dotfiles on a new machine, your scretches get synced automatically.
