🏚️ My coding jouney

I started coding around 2 years ago with batch, I used to copy bad games and change them ever so slightly and I kept doing this until around 1 month later I started with web development and making my own websites using html and css (copied from W3Schools) and barley any Javascript, the only time i used my own code and didnt copy code was when i did the simplest thing ever alert('Hello World') It wasen't much but i was still happy, i kept doing this for around 4-5 months until i found a video of notch coding, i wanted to code java too so i downloaded Intellij Idea and started coding Java for the first time, i looked up some tutorials and by feburary 2021 i started a minecraft server, it wasen't much, just a 1.17 server with barley any plugins, so i decided to code a minigame, didnt really work so a couple of weeks later after i got the jist of Spigot plugin coding, i went ahead and made a rank system, it worked occasionally but it stil worked, i converted the server into 1.8 and changed all the plugins to work for 1.8 and it worked, everything was working on 1.8.9, so i figured, if i can make a minecraft server, surely i can make a client and so i did, i downaloded MCP and i replaced the minecraft sources with optifine sources, i still remember when it took me a week to get the minecraft source code working because i coulden't figure out how do change the dependinces but i got it working, by now i've been coding for about 15 months, i wanted to do something else so i made a game in unity called ultra golf 2D, it took me 1 week to make the game with the help of my friends and the very next day i published the game onto itch.io, i thought if unity was like this what about unreal engine, i tried unreal before but i stopped like 1 week into it because of its steep learning curve, i wanted to make a horror game so me and the same friends that helped me with Ultra golf 2d came up with an idea to make a horror game, I plan to make future games with unreal engine but i just want to get used to it for now
