calendarbundle's Introduction

CalendarBundle

A simple Calendar/Event CMS bundle

Status: hard-development

Dependances

  • SonataIntlBundle - To show date in your language
  • FrequenceWebDashboardBundle - Only for the admin part

Installation

1) Add it to composer

Add it to the composer.json:

    "soloist/calendar-bundle": "dev-master"

Load the installation:

    composer install

2) Add it to your kernel

// app/AppKernel.php

// ...

        $bundles = array(
            // ... your bundles ...
            new Soloist\Bundle\CalendarBundle\SoloistCalendarBundle(),
        );

// ...

3) Add it in your routing

# Admin part, you can use your favorite admin prefix
# and add "soloist" in the prefix to be sure it will not override any part of your routes
SoloistCalendarBundle_backend:
    resource: "@SoloistCalendarBundle/Resources/config/routing_backend.xml"
    prefix:   /admin/soloist

# You should do the same operation for the front office
SoloistCalendarBundle_frontend:
    resource: "@SoloistCalendarBundle/Resources/config/routing_frontend.xml"
    prefix:   /

calendarbundle's Issues

Clean all the bundle !

  • Templating do not respect any convention. Main block is body, not an exotic one
  • Extends from base.html.twig like in other bundles
  • Indent is approximative, exemple :
            {% if calendar is defined %}
            <a href="{{ path('soloist_calendar_calendar_show', {
                'year': month.getNext().begin.format('Y'),
                'month': month.getNext().begin.format('n'),
                'slug': calendar.slug
            }) }}">
            {% else %}
            <a href="{{ path('soloist_calendar_calendar_show_all', {
                'year': month.getNext().begin.format('Y'),
                'month': month.getNext().begin.format('n')
            }) }}">
            {% endif %}

Active bundle

Hello! i have a question, this calendar is active now? i meant, is 100% functional? Because i need a calendar for events. Thanks for your answers

Error while saving an event

An exception has been thrown during the rendering of a template ("Catchable Fatal Error: Object of class DateTime could not be converted to string in /Users/yohan/Sites/smpr/app/cache/dev/twig/95/d7/9b86024f9817576769d10c186e60.php line 143") in FrequenceWebDashboardBundle::admin_full.html.twig at line 23.

Symfony 2.1??

Hi! This bundle runs Symfony 2.1? Because I have tried to install this version on Symfony 2.1 but i get error in GIT when I add "soloist/calendar.bundle": dev-master" in the composer.json.. Sorry for my english! Pleasee answer me..! I need it!

Code style

Most of code is code-style-malformed. Review it.

Uniformize bundle

Other Soloist Bundles don't separate Front/Back controller into sub-namespace. Respect this convention.
