Original Set Game

Current Features

  • One player only
  • Hint function
    • Adds new cards if no sets are available
    • Submits set after a couple extra clicks
  • Works/looks best on chrome
    • Still reasonably playable on mobile browsers!

Known Issues

  • Hint function doesn't restart if no selected ; player deselects hint

Incomplete / Unstarted Features

  • Computer player (time based + rand? search from opposite end of cards from hint function)
  • Multiplayer local? (listen to keyboard & each player has a button that means set?)
  • Multiplayer web?
  • Better color changing options
    • Dark vs. light color schemes
    • Maybe little boxes to show colors instead of text description

no matches remaining / end of game hint() glitch

Board adds three empty card slots instead of triggering end game condition.

  • Test the hint function to figure out where and why it is skipping the end game condition.
  • Rewrite the hint function if that doesn't work.

update hint()

  1. hint() should restart its counter if the player deselects any or all of the hinted cards.
  2. hint() should probably have its own selection color, too.
    • set() will need to be updated to accept additional colors.
    • .css will need additional hintClass info.
