The most straightforward way to do would be to open Edit > PluginManager, and from there Add the SofaPython3.dll which should be in /SOFA_v21.12.00_Win64/plugins/SofaPython3/bin/
Let me know if this helps. @fredroy do not hesitate to complete my suggestion

@hugtalbot well it depends how it was installed actually
@jchoi2868 Did you install SOFA (through the binaries on https://www.sofa-framework.org/download ? or did you compile it ?
I guess it is the latter as I see the Release directory but not sure.

Yep @fredroy indeed, I thought it was the binary version but you seem to be right: it is a compiled version of SOFA

It is a compiled version of SOFA. I tried your solution, but unfortunately failed it.

did you successfully got SofaPython3 compiling, loading and working with SOFA?
