auto-comments's Issues

Update the "Sql Injection" comment

Right now the Sql Injection comment has a link specific to PHP. Can the title of that entry be edited to include that language, and a separate one be made to be language-independent?

Establish an ordering for types of comments

This ordering should be based on how frequently those comments are used. Maybe some SEDE data could be helpful (assuming comments are not used primarily for deleted posts).

For example: spam should be at the top.

Also, it would be nice if the Auto-Comments userscript could support categories.

Would a link to the "Why is 'please help me not a question?" be useful?

I don't have anything written yet, but would it be helpful to have some text in stackoverflow.com/questions.md for this Meta post?

Why is β€œCan someone help me?” not an actual question?

I find myself posting this one (and some related explanation) when something is too broad, and the OP believes that the magic phrase will implicitly ask all the necessary questions for them. It is somewhat related to a few existing phrases that are responses to essentially too broad or poorly defined problems.

What do folks think? I will write something out if people think it will be separately useful over the existing phrases.

Homework

I think the list is very nice but we must add Auto-comment for Homework or assignments question.

Integration with Will's idownvotedbecause.com

Once this issue has been closed and the site migrated there will be content on http://idownvotedbecause.com (now on IDYB) that could be useful to point to to educate users about Stack Overflow.

Should we integrate them as links into comments?

For example:

You seem to have posted more code than what would be reasonable for your issue. Please read [ask] and how to make a [mcve], providing a MCVE helps users answer your question and future users relate to your issue. Note that this is also a common downvote reason.
