. . so as to give it, in its dark variant, a subtle gradient in its focused titlebars. The change makes the theme slightly less flat and by dint of that it is easier to tell windows apart.
I know this isn't really an 'issue', i.e. problem, but I thought I'd let you know that you can have and host the theme if you like. Screenshots:
I might add a small amount - or even smaller amount - of shading to unfocused titlebars.
I could not locate the Mint-Y-BB themes from Apearance in Linux Mate
Thank you for making (/making available) these themes.
The High Contrast theme was always buggy and indeed with your version the minimize button goes peculiar when hovered over, at least when using a dark control theme.
This is a shame, because I really like that theme (especially in the dark mode shown - but I like the Big Buttons version of Mint-Y, too).
EDIT: I find it a bit odd that, in the High Contrast theme, there is a more visible border to a window when the windows in not focused.
It seems the slight update to Cinnamon in 19.2 broke the spacing in the Esco theme, my favorite of the bunch.
Specifically, the window description no long fits inside the title bar meant for it:

Thanks.
On what is admittedly an alpha version of Mint Cinnamon, things go wrong with the BB theme. To wit:
Notice the red lines. Those lines disappear when I switch to an inbuilt Mint theme.
Hi,
I used the Mint-Y-Dark VBB in mint 20.3 and loved it. After installing Mint 21 they do no longer pop up in Themes. Are there any plans to update the code to work with mint 21?
Would be absolutely great if there is.

I was hoping to find a Metacity 3 port of Crux-with-Icons, which is a version of Crux that was modified so it includes window icons. I often cascade my windows, so I find the window icons, at the top left, very helpful. Since you've apparently developed a knack for updating these themes, would you mind including that one? The Metacity 1 version isn't hard to find.
The recent fix for the high contrast theme - a fix for a problem with a hovered-in-active-window icon - is welcome. Mint used the theme for years but never fixed that problem. Also welcome is that the fixed version was released as a zip. Thanks!
However . . since one can use the maximise etc. buttons of a window even when that window is not active, it would be nice to have some hover highlighting in that case too . .
Also, the white border around inactive windows makes them look, to my eyes, more active than the actual active window . .
On Mint 19.1 Cinnamon (the alpha version and the release version), for some applications such as Ksystemlog, windows end up such that the larger of their two toggle states is almost, but not quite, full-screen. That is: pressing the maximise button switches between (1) a smaller version of the window and (2) an almost-but-not-quite full screen version of the window.
The behaviour quickly reoccurs after one has resized the window of 2 to actually be full screen, i.e. even after manual correction, maximise does not really maximise. I find that if I use one of Mint Cinnamon's inbuilt themes, e.g. Mint-Y-Dark, the problem does not occur.
I am unsure whether there is a pattern to the applications affected. Perhaps they are all and only Qt apps.
